Not trying to hijack the thread.......we are talking about lock screens though......is there anyway to get a battery meter/% on the screen?? I've searched a bit and haven't seen anything??

there is an app called "wallpaper set and save" in the market that fixes all of the screen wallpaper issues. it stops the blurry home screen wallpaper issue(from having to crop it), and makes setting both the lock screen and home screen images a piece of cake. A must have if you are a wallpaper junkie like me

When I orginally got my Hero I thought the Lockscreen wallpaper was just clear, and had the pull down bar across the homescreen. I just want a transparent wallpaper on the lockscreen, but there is no way to set it back to default. any ideas?

I didn't have that, but would be cool. Take a screenshot of homescreen and use as wallpaper haha jk.

Still off topic, I want that bar to be transparent.

Yeah but that would be cheating! I guess I'm just wishing that it was originally transparent. But that would be cool, then you could still see the clock and weather widget above the lockbar. I would like to put some icons/notices on the lockscreen, like on the old WinMo phones. I think I saw that out there somewhere, but people were saying it wasn't running well.Oh well.... ready for 2.0!

Going off topic here, But does the standard lock screen 1.x or 2.0 have the mp3 controls?

are you talking about if you were playing a song on the player and you go to the lockscreen, if it shows the play, next, or back button for the player?
yes it does then.
