not yet.

Also, FWIW, the entire time i had windows mobile and flashed roms, i was just trying to achieve something that could hold a candle to the HTC Hero.

Re: Couple of questions about the Hero

So it is an onscreen keyboard only. Does it come with a holster or case or snap on belt clip? Oh, and does it have a stylus or completely touchscreen with fingers only.

My hero and a lot of Sprint users are experiencing a very fast, responsive, and snappy device thanx to HTC's optimizations. Yes, i have seem slight hiccups from time to time but in my experience its not at all laggy or slow. Its defenetly faster than my old Touch Pro and my Palm Pre. What i want from sprint is that donut 1.6 that just rolled out but there is no date for the upgrade yet...

For the most part sense is responsive and quick. The only horrible lag I've encountered is when using the keyboard in the web browser...try replying to a thread using your hero and you'll start to feel the pain. Although hopefully in the next update they will optimize it more...but I have a feeling its an android problem. I've seen videos of the stock android SIP doing the same thing. So its most likely an android problem and not something htc can easily fix.

Yes its only an onscreen keyboard. no it doesn't come with a holster, case, or anything. the only thing you get in the box is the charger and sync cable. no screen protector, no headphones, no case. sprint kinda cheeped out on this one.

Also no stylus, as the screen is capacitive, utilizing the electrical resistance of your skin. Its kinda pricey to make a stylus for it,although they do exist.
