Flash HTC Hero from Sprint to MetroPCS

I am hoping the smart people on this forum can help me.

I have an HTC Hero that was with Sprint. The phone's ESN is unlocked and "000000". I have attempted to write the PRL which I got from Corolada PRL Page (I tried all the non-Evdo files) using both using QPST Config and CDMA but each time I reboot the phone I still get Sprint on 611.

What am I missing?
Do first I need to first get MetroPCS service and number?
Are there any other settings I need to change?
