2.2 on the HERO
 

My buddy bought my HERO, but before I ship it, he wants 2.2. Right now I am running Fresh 2.1. Can anyone link me to fresh 2.2 so I can throw that rom on the phone. I looked through the HERO upgrade section, but I can't seem to find the rom I am looking for. Thanks in advance.

Fresh doesnt do a 2.2 for the hero. Only Cyanogen, buuf and the wildfire alphas are 2.2

Out of these 3 roms, which is generally considered the best?

never tried buuf but running cyanogen with stock kernel and won't look back

do you have a link on how to install cyanogen with the stock kernel? I just bought a Hero so I'm trying to learn all of these mods.
