How do I reset a rooted hero

I just got an EVO and threw the HERO on CL. I am running Fresh 2.1 (update 2). I boot the phone into recovery mode and choose to reinstall fresh 2.1. It loads fresh like it should, I then restart the phone. It takes about 5 mins to start up just like it should. Then when the home screen loads up, all of my shit is still on there, just like I never even did anything. If I go into menu>settings>security, the option isn't even there to reset. I want to sell this phone, but not with all of my info on it. Help please.
