Hide applications

Hey guys/gals. I just have a simple question. I have programs on my phone that blocks calls and text, also I have other applications that I dont want to be used by anyone who decides to play with my phone. So my question to you smart people of ppcgeeks, is there a program or a way I can hide my apps on my phone or rename and change the icon? I will still search here after posting this, but i have been searching a while. Thanks for the help or not.
