Facebook Account Switch/Edit

So I recently have been unable to get the HTC Facebook app to work correctly, and I'm pretty darn sure it's because I changed my password elsewhere. I just can't seem to find a way to "switch" the account back to itself or just change the password and because of this it is useless.

Go to Menu> Settings>Accounts/Sync>Facebook and remove then readd it.

Hmm that's weird because that's where I checked earlier and it didn't have Facebook already on the list. Just my LastFM, Gmail and Weather accounts.
and now it won't even let me add it again (and adding the Facebook for HTC Sense didn't solve the problem either, and the regular Facebook choice just highlights and doesn't select)

If you wipe dalvik cache does the facebook app still show?

I would just pull the facebook apk>wipe dalvik cache and reboot> push facebook apk back to phone> reboot

Let us know what happens.

I have seen it take a while for the Facebook account sync to show up. On a Windows phone it wasn't there for the longest time and then when I went back to it all of a sudden it was there. No idea why, but weird none the less. All that to say, your not alone.

*Problem Resolved*
Hmm well I uninstalled it's updates, then "updated" it back to the newest version then it enabled the prompt for my user info.
So if anybody has this issue, just uninstall the updates then update the program again and you can change or edit your login info!!
