Unhappy your advice

well i just got the hero like 7 days ago and i notice the sometimes my screen doesnt respond to my touch, yo think there is a problem with it? should i have them give me a new one. or is it me thats not touching the screen right right ( lol sounds odd). would appreciate youir advice so i can take it back or learn how to use it.

If you have either very dry or calloused fingertips, that can sometimes cause problems. Try using the pad of your fingertip, and either moisten slightly, or rub the tips together and then try the screen. This will allow the capacitive screen to work properly.

Also, fresh out of the box, my hero lagged like crazy. Try doing a hard reset. Also, if you ever decide to root your phone, and move things to the sd card, the difference is like night and day.

it's not just you, i have that too sometimes. it seems to only respond good to a couple of my fingers and if im holding it the right way. i know it's not defective but it is annoying at best.

thats exactly what it feels like to tell you the truth, since some times i text in class i have my phone hidden and the screen doesnt respond so i have to hold it a certain way to text

Yea, my right index finger doesn't do so well on the screen but my thumbs will. May be time to change the screen protector.
