see ive always liked opera mini.. cause it works for forums and craiglist..etc.. i hate having to use desktop rendering etc. for for forums and such.. i like to get in get out.etc.. and mini does that perfectly.. for everything else. stock browser works fine..

yes indeed opera mini is perfect for research and just browsing. if ya want more in depth surfing then use the android browser.
