Angry dust under the lcd?....my story!

so i got the dreaded dust under my lcd screen even with a screen protector on. i went to a sprint service center and they tried to clean it out and couldn't get all of it. they said they have seen many hero's with this issue and of course it is well known on the net. sprint says htc is working on a fix? so my question to them was, when they fix it will they repair our hero's or will we get another phone? sprint claims they will notify owners when the fix is ready. i have no idea what this means but they are very aware of it! bottom line is it is a manufacturer and sprint defect and im getting a new hero shipped out to me in a few days. whether or not this one gets dust is yet to be seen but im very unhappy right now!

ive gone through 4 defective brand new sprint phones in 6 months. i love the hero but if my replacement gets dust im selling it for another device.

any of you guys have this issue yet?
