Reason why people want 2.1 early

I've been reading through as many 2.1 Rom threads as I could find, but didn't see any differences. Could somebody tell me why so many people want the 2.1 update so bad. May be a noob question, but a noob I'm not..lol

Many reasons, and I certainly can't name them all. The most practical of which is that many of the newest and bets apps won't run on older versions of Android. Several bug fixes. Better integration of services from google, facebook, etc. More efficient use of system resources.

Bottom line... it will do more, better.

becasue its there, much like anything people want.... if we know about it we want it, if we had no clue it existed, we wouldnt want it....

except for herpes, I know about it and I still dont want it! lol

edit... I will be a little pissed off though if my touchpro 2 has 2.1 on it b4 my hero does, working that is.

thanks aparent..I can see why people would want it now, as do I, but I'm in no rush. When HTC changes their SenseUI then I'll be anticipating that. Yea 1.5 has bugs and such but its not the first generation of Android together with HTC, so my guess is 2.1 will follow suit, and be nowhere near bug-free. Although the droid seems to keep users happy. I can't wait until HTC gives us android with a keyboard

Google Maps is a bit cooler on 2.1, it's a bit cooler on 2.0 honestly lol.

I have 2.1 on my Droid and just the visual enhancements are awesome IMO.

Maybe there will be bugs but the most important thing to remember is that we have some pretty amazing devs and once they get there hands on the main source, bugs will be weeded out and tweaking will increase its functionality. I dont want 2.1 for 2.1, I want 2.1 for the devs 2.1. Holla!!

I can dig that. Thanks for the input guys, now I'm anticipating 2.1 lol..GREAT!!..Hopefully we will have it soon, but I think by the time we get it, Sprint will have released a new device with 2.1 running on it from out of the box.
