Help with GoogleVoice

Ok, I downloaded the google voice app have everything set up. I can recieve calls and sms and I dial using my GV automatically, but for the life of me I cant get it to send sms via GV by default. I realized that there is an option to send via GV by default that I must have missed but I cant get it to pop up to change it again. I cleared all defaults from the google voice app and the messages app. Any suggestions?

Uninstall and reinstall GV.
