Cool. If I could get my texts I'd be back on Gumbo with Fresh, no questions. But, I can't do that haha.

You are saying with fresh and the gumbo kernel you cant get texts? Thats weird. You have been using the 3 sea shells instead of the proper wiping material havent you?

I did testing yesterday on the overclocked kernel. I wasnt impressed. I didnt see a huge speed increase and it is built on gbhil standard kernel without the aggressive mem killer. After about 5 hours of use, programs started to lag horribly. I flashed fresh 1.1 back and then flashed the Gumbo kernel back and everything is much better. Just my opinion.

why is a duck without a June bug a bummer, exactly?

Don't mean to jump off OP's topic again, but I do not want to make another thread and this one is quasi releveant.

With the push mail app (the nice standard Gmail red folder looking one), HOW do you down load attachments? I spent about 20 min the other day looking for the option to download it before I gave up. I reset up my email on the "mail" app to get it done.

The file that I was trying to download was 12mb. It was a .mp3, the only option I could manage to do anything with was to "preview" the attachment. It takes you to the music player. And from there, I could not find a "save/download" option.

There has got to be a way to download attachments from within the push mail. It just doesnt seem right that with all the effort that has gone into designing this and making it easy to use that they would leave out a pretty large feature

This sucks. I just bookmarked the gmail website so I can download attachments when necessary.

I can't do it. What about the apkatcher app? Has anyone tried that for anything besides apks? Its for intercepting attachments in push email.

I think it only looks for apks. The browser thing is probably he most efficient solution.
