My phone is stuck and won't go to recovery mode??

Hey my phone will not go into recovery mode.
It always gets stuck at the HTC logo and nothing else.
I have tried to hard reset and it gets stuck at this same HTC logo every time.

Sprint HTC Hero
Fresh ROM 1.0

Need Help ASAP

I'm sorry, but basically I just want to hard reset the phone and wipe it clean but it won't even do that, every time I try it just freezes at the HTC logo

PS - After I get this fixed I am jumping to the iPhone

First of all dude this is why I hate forums, because everyone acts like a major d*ck when you need help. I never had a problem flashing windows mobile, but now I am having a problem with android and everyone gets mad.

My SD card got corrupted some how.. and now I am trying to perform a hard reset because I have people wanting to buy my phone and I need a clean install. I have tried doing the sprint stock .exe but that says my phone is not connected.

So if there is anyone who would like to help me and not treat me like a child that would be greatly appreciated!
