i too have a loud pipe on my r1 and we use chatter box to talk to each other and listen to tunes and i can barely hear anything other than the pipe noise. just my 2cents

so in your experience it's basically pointless to pursue trying to find some bluetooth that I can talk to peeps on the phone and actually get a conversation going?

just read the reviews online3...the speakers and sound quality are good upto around 50mph and the mic cancels out the noise

imo yes, chatterbox works pretty good for talking to others your riding with but its not perfect, we have a spotter for when we do stunts on the highway and works good for spotin and relaying info on coppers. chatterbox is a must for stunt teams, but overall just bsing, no.

I saw one of you so called "stunt team" riders do a real good stunt on the freeway today take himself out & mess up a car real good when his bike slammed into it. Keep the "stunts" off the highway.

When i ride my hurricane in the summer i have a set of super low profile Skull Candy earbuds that fit in my ear so nicely i don't even feel them. mayeb take a look at their site and see if you can find a set. A set i have just for aroudn the house is smokin; buds by Skull Candy they are also amazing. but b prepared to spend some cash depending on what model u get.
