Keep Track of Apps?
Is there a way I can keep track of all my installed apps, like a list mode or something. I wanted to factory reset my Hero, but there are some apps that I remember to install from the Market and then there are those small apps I came across that I may use from time to time that I just can't remember the name or something.
If there was a way that would monitor what I installed or only if the Market had a manager system tied to your Gmail to see app history or manage apps online and in the event of a reset, I can 'push' apps from my online manager onto the clean Hero... |
Re: Keep Track of Apps?
if you go to the market and click my download, it shows all the apps that you downloaded through the market

You will need to reinstall your apps if you do a hard reset.

Re: Keep Track of Apps?
There has to be something in that market that does this, I'm sure. I once did a screen capture of my entire app list to recall what apps I had, prior to the Hard Reset.

Not sure if that applies to the OP's situation though. |
Re: Keep Track of Apps?
You could backup with astro. I wouldn't suggest installing from there but you will have all your apps on the storage card and that would be a list. Don't install them all though because they won't show up in market.

And for those that aren't in the market, I usually have or will download the apk to my computer. |
