So now I'm trying to figure out how to get it to recognize my city like it did before I deleted it the first time. The individual weather app has no issues providing the info for my city.

Do you have auto updates turned on in your weather settings? Make sure you enable your GPS sat. If you don't have that on, your phone wont be found for the updates I believe. Go to menu/location/enable gps satellites. My phone did the exact same thing you are talking about. I am rooted though. Mine wouldn't even recognize the 'Current City' I ended up having to hard reset. Can you nandroid backup if you're not rooted? If so, I recommend backing up, then hard resetting, then restoring and everything should be fine?? Sorry if I am of no help.... peace-br
