Exchange email push

Morning fellas. I used to use System Seven on my Q9c for push email.
Is there an option for push email on the Hero? I am not having any luck with the built-in, because it's https.

Any suggestions?

There are threads everywhere on this. Touchdown is one some people are using. Just look around.

i use SEVEN on my hero. It's still in beta, so it has its quirks, but they work hard to fix things, as you may know.

Excellent, downloading at we speak. Yes, they do a VERY good job at keeping
us "testers" working. I had very few bugs on my Q9c, workgroup edition.

I will try this and let you know. I know on my old one it was a homescreen, how does it work on the Hero?

My next question is about folders, have you tackled that yet? Does it work?

it is also a home screen with icons at the top for each account you have set up. you can manually configure what folders to sync also. I haven't synced any though

Re: Exchange email push

The standard hero mail works with Exchange 2003/2007 push. I'm using it with Push on a 2007 server. It pushes the inbox only. It does support folders but you need to refresh those.

Re: Exchange email push

Paid For touchdown.. Can't say enough good things about it. Sync's Specific folders (which is good for me since I have outlook rules for our support mailbox) and works nice as it doesn't force on all of the policies of our exchange server. My phone isn't always locked just touchdown.

Pay the 10 bucks it's worth every penny
