Anyone buy their phone online with BestBuy Mobile???

I recently purchased an HTC Hero through BestBuy which arrived today WOOT WOOT!!! However, it was shipped unactivated and I need to be able to have access to a phone by tomorrow. The paper that came with the phone said the phone would be activated the same day delievered automatically but when I try to turn on the phone, it makes me set up the device manually then advices me to call Sprint Customer Service which the instructions says will cause a delay. Would I just be able to ESN swap online phones or would I need to wait until tomorrow to call best buy?
