Email does not sound a notification??

Ok, i bought my Hero a few days ago coming over from the Touch Pro. Liking it a lot. I went ahead and rooted my phone and flashed Fresh rom the other day. I'm not sure if this is related to the rom or what because i haven't really had the phone long enough to figure out the quirks, but i never receive an audio notification when i receive an email. Anyone else have this problem and/or no how to fix?

Mine is fine. Go in to your email app and make sure the notification for email isn't set to silent.

Lol.. THANKS! Didn't know i had to set it there too. They were set to silent.
