Of course, you could always setup your phone to synchronize folders with a mediacenter (or any other windows comuter) and then any pictures, videos, etc could automatically be synchronized to the cloud or to a specific device for you to play. I use live mesh for this service and it works great.

No need to hook up the cable at all. . .
