Remove files from Music Library

Using default music player on my HD2. Somehow I have a bunch of sound effects and small files in my library. Can't figure out how to delete them from my library!?

Re: Remove files from Music Library

they come with the phone you shouldn't really delete them. Maybe the better question is to single them out so that they don't show up in your library.

Re: Remove files from Music Library

chose wrong word. I meant remove them from the library. Only way to do that is to delete the file from the phone?

Guess I'll have to setup playlists.

Re: Remove files from Music Library

there is a thread on XDA about hiding/excluding certain folders from HTC album. Search for it; there may be a clue there for your cause as well.

Re: Remove files from Music Library

Use Resco File Explorer or Total Commander and hide any folder that you wouldn't want the Sense Music Player to scan.

That will ensure that none of the sounds from games and other apps show up in the Sense player.

Re: Remove files from Music Library

Hmmm, not that I know off.

You could try CorePlayer or TCPMP.

I love the Sense player. Can't imagine why you don't. Seemed a touch complicated at first but then I really started to enjoy using it.

Re: Remove files from Music Library

you can't really just go right to the song you want with sense, i guess that's my biggest beef with it. wmp just works for me, no lag and never crashed.
