Pincode Lock Errors
 

I have had a couple customers in the past week or so that have complained that when using the winmo pincode lock that after a day or so the phone no longer unlocks. It basically acts like the password is incorrect and just erases the passcode after trying to unlock. I have seen it happen on one device and a hard reset fixed it but not sure if it has happened again. Any of you guys experienced this or heard about it? Doesn't happen with the slide lock feature or any other lock utility.

i had that problem too, basically it means u installed a program that broke windows and the pincode issue is a result of it. only solution is to hard reset and watch what prgrams u install.

That could be a cause but the devices I have seen it happening on do not have any additional apps installed.

i've also had an issue where the time limit doesnt work,
for instance if i set it to lock after one hour it doesnt
work. it asks for a password after everytime i power on the
phone. my tp2 didnt have this problem.

I had that problem today, and to solve the problem a had to reinstall the Rom, I hope never happens again.

The solution I have been referring to people is using an alternate lock program. Pocketshield works very well and there is also Slide to Unlock available. Either one has the option of pincode lock and do not have the issue the stock lock does. Thanks for the feedback guys.
