Cases- a warning.

If you buy a case sight unseen online, make sure it says specifically which version of the HD2 it's made for. I ordered some silicone skins off ebay & they do NOT fit right. The bottom lip keeps slipping off & the charging port opening doesn't line up. Damnit!!! I'm super pissed cause I ordered them from Hong Kong & not only did it take nearly 2 weeks to get them, now I have to go through the pains of shipping them back & waiting for my refund.

Apparently the 1-mm size difference between the 2 versions of the HD2 is enough to make cases not fit. So learn from my fail- make sure before you buy that it says T-MOBILE HD2 in the description if that's what you have.

That said- I bought the clear plastic Body Glove case at the T-mo store yesterday, and it's freaking awesome. A bit pricey at $20, but worth it cause it fits beautifully & has a kickstand on the back. If anyone cares to know, lol...

Good warning. Yes people, if on eBay only order items that say for T-Mobile HD2!

You can tell which is which because the seller will have listed the items later, when the T-Mobile version first came out.

If the auction does NOT say T-Mobile specifically pass on the auction. Many times the sellers will say it's for an HD2 (and not mention T-Mobile).

I would not rely on asking those sellers either, because many of them will say it's for the T-Mobile version, when it's not.

On things other than cases, such as batteries, you should be OK.

Re: Cases- a warning.

Best bet- just don't buy any cases from other countries. The ones I bought that don't fit came from Hong Kong, while the one that DID fit came from California. Asking questions is all but pointless- I've emailed 3 or 4 sellers & only got a reply from one of them. I guess it's common practice in Hong Kong to ignore potential customers :-|

I just got an email from the seller about refunding them. They're claiming they specified in the description that they were only for the unbranded HD2, which is an outright lie cause NOWHERE on the description did it say anything about which version it would fit. Believe me, I looked. Either way they're gonna give me my money back, so whatevs.
