Pandora for the HD2

Download the cab and open it. When it asks for a user name and password you wont have a keyboard to put your credentials.

Solution: Go to settings/ personal/ buttons. Change (hold send key) to input panal. Then when it asks you to log in just hold in the send key.

Everything else working perfectly.

This method does work. I tried installing an old Pandora cab I had but kept getting a debug error when loading the app, was able to login and select a channel but it never loaded. Installed this cab, signed in, and BOOM! music within seconds.

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but I've had the TP2 pandora working on the HD2 since release date... I will say I do prefer the quality of slacker though.

Re: Pandora for the HD2

I have no quality issues with pandora. The only thing that annoys me is that after 30 minutes you have to tell the phone keep playing. I plug my phone into my store's audio system but don't have the time to keep hitting that every 30.

I use slacker in the car where you need bigger buttons and better quality through the car speakers.
But, Pandora seems to pick music better than slacker so in the office where I am just using the speakers it is good. And with the big screen, I can actually press the buttons just as good as I was using the stylus on the tp2.

Re: Pandora for the HD2

I have copied the pandora.cab and installed the app, but wont give me a key pad to input username / password. I did try to follow the thread that Racemepls had posted to do the following Go to settings/ personal/ buttons. Change (hold send key) to input panal. Was wondering if I do that thru my htc hd2 settings or pandora setting (becasue there is no settings in pandora for that). I greatly appriciate all the help.
