Hspl 2 works
JUST FLASHED NRG TMOBILE ROM THING IS AWESOME
GET IT HERE http://hotfile.com/list/255376/99cdb1c

HSPL IS HERENot all ROMs are compatible with 1024LEO, including old official ROMS.
Official 1.42 and 1.66 WON'T WORK on LEO1024, because there is no 1024 NAND memory support.

All custom ROMs which ARE NOT BASED ON 2.08+ T-Mobile ROMs WON'T WORK ON 1024LEO.

1. Download HardSPL package from *HERE* and extract to an empty folder
2. Synch Phone with PC in Windows Mobile!!! It has to be connected to activesync or WMDC via USB cable
3. Run HSPL2_1024_RUN.exe from your pc and read all the text carefully
4. When finished click next in the HardSPL program
5. The program will now check the usb connection and enter the bootloader screen (tri colour)
NEW: YOU CAN NOW CHOOSE WHICH VERSION OF SPL OR HARDSPL YOU WANT TO FLASH TO YOUR PHONE!!
6. Select your desired HardSPL and click NEXT.
7. HardSPL will now be flashed to your phone.
8. When its finished the HardSPL program will pop up a box saying "successfully Done".
9. Click ok to terminate program and reboot the phone.
10. Congrats, you just flashed HardSPL.

CLICK ON THE BLUE HERE LINK D/L SYNC PHONE AND FOLLOW DIRECTIONS
WHEN PROMT WHAT VERSION HSPL CHOOSE 2.08

*Go into BootLoader Mode (turn off phone, then press and hold the VOLUME DOWN then Press and hold the POWER button. After about 3 seconds the tri-coloured screen should appear). Verify the screen shows SPL-1.42.HSPL, which is the HardSPL version*

Thank you for your post. I went to XDA and got lossed in all the flood ROMS that are available. Good grief, I couldn't even found energy ROM. Your post is much appreciated.

where do I find which ROM version I'm running? I assume that, since I just bought this, it is "the newer one" but I want to know what I'm looking at.

ok, should have known that - thanks. So, you're saying 2.8 or above? Or, is the 2.8 Radio version?
My ROM is 2.10.531.1

when you flash the hspl is will ask you what version hspl it will already be on 2.08 just click next

HSPL is Hard SPL. Basically this SPL persists even after soft resets and restarts, the Soft SPL does not. Hope this helps.
