Need help with HTC HD2 problems!

Hello everyone!

I have an HTC HD2 and after a few weeks I'm encountering some problems. My phone has become slow like HELL! I tried installing Ram Sweeper but it tells me to update .net compact framework. This is first time I got a WinMo based phone and have absolutely no idea how to install the .net compact framework 3.5. I downloaded the setup yesterday then tried running it and it won't run, said it can't run it. Now again I'm trying to download the setup and it says my phone has not enough disk space. I uninstalled the one or two games I downloaded from marketplace, but still nothing . Can someone please guide me on what to do? Thanks!

PS: My phone is factory unlocked.

A soft reset should fix all of the issues that ram sweeper would as well. Try a soft reset if that doesn't fix it you can always power cycle it.

I have tried restarting but it doesn't work. Can you please tell what is power cycle? On day one, the "Launching HTC Sense" took about 20 seconds, now it's taking more than 3 minutes! Do I need to update anything? Thanks!

I'm trying to install .NET Compact Framework 3.5 (NETCFv35.wm.armv4i.cab) but my phone says installation was unsuccessful, why?

Re: Need help with HTC HD2 problems!

When installing framework it has to be installed to the device, not a storage card in case you were trying that. It could also be a bad cab file. Try this one, used it on my last 3 devices and have had no issues. Also, power cycle refers to having the phone on, turning it off, then turning it back on. Soft reset is similar to powering off but doesn't give the phone time to shut down so it clears any stuck or background running programs, Should be a reset button somewhere on the device, if not just pull the battery out while it is on.

Yes that did it! I was able to free 39MB of RAM! Thanks a lot!
