My HTC rep came into my store yesterday and delivered some not so promising news. From what he said, the release date has been pushed to mid to late april for the country wide release. However New York and Los Angeles have already released the phone. Not sure why this is happening but that's what im told. I hope that he is incorrect (wouldn't be the first time he was wrong) but its looking credible.

NY and LA have already released it? Do you mean it's already available to buy there?
Pushing the release back sucks though.. I'm getting pretty damn sick of waiting, I really hope it doesn't end up being pushed back.

I just spoke with my cousin that lives in LA. He called 2 T Mobile stores and both indicated that 03/24 will still be the official release date for HD2.

If the HTC Rep said the phone is already out in NY and LA in which they're not, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be accurate either on the release date.

I just talked to my local store manager, he said 03/16 or 03/24 most likely. He's saving me the very first one :)

Called 3 local stores - they all said they had no official info but were expecting it to drop on the 24th. None of them even had a dummy unit yet though :(

I visited a local T-Mobile store today and asked when the HD2 would be released. The rep went to a terminal and after about a minute told me 3/24.
