Have to slide keyboard out to end call???

Quick Question for the Shift people out there.... I called back one of my customers to see how she was doing with your new phone. She told me other than getting used to the switch from Blackberry to Android her only problem was the fact that when the keyboard is closed an she is holding the phone she cannot end the call. She said everytime she has to slide the keyboard out to hang up or wait for the other person to hang up to end the call. So im just wondering has anyone else had this problem? Will a hard reset fix that or updating the phone work?

Appreciate that people!

Re: Have to slide keyboard out to end call???

I answer and end calls all day long without using the hardware keyboard. There's a big red "END CALL" button in the phone app while you're on a call. If hers isn't available, I would have to guess it's an app she installed that's causing issues?

edit: wait, is she talking about the screen lock or phone suspended, maybe? If you're in a call and the screen is off (completely dark) you have to turn the screen on with the power button, then press "END CALL".

Re: Have to slide keyboard out to end call???

I definitely haven't had this problem. The proximity sensor always turns the screen back on and I can press end call in the dialer. Also, if she's exited the dialer somehow by pressing back or home, you can always slide down the notification tray and there's another end call button there.
