HELP! Camera causes reboot on MikG v2.1 ROM

I am running MikG v2.1 Re-Engineered GB Sense 2.1 + 3.0 ROM and am finding my camera causes the phone to reboot, then after the phone reboots the screen brightness is 100%. It used to only do it when taking pics in low-light situations, but lately it's started doing it on almost every picture. I seen some posts regardign the reboot issue and I have seen posts regarding the "brightness bug", but haven't see where the issues have been related.

Has anyone else noticed this? Or more importantly; does anyone have a fix for this? I love this ROM, but I gotta have my camera.

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I have narrowed the issue down to ISO setting of 800. It seems when the camera utilizes the 800 ISO setting (either manually or automatically), that causes the camera to freeze and the phone reboots.

Yes, it happened to me once over the weekend. brightness issue occurred as well. I believe this has been posted in amikam's rom thread as well at mik.com and xda. I'm sure he is aware of it and will fix it. Good luck.

Re: HELP! Camera causes reboot on MikG v2.1 ROM

Thanks Riley...

One other thing of interest in trying to figure out what camera version I have, when I go into Menu > Setting > Application > Manage Applications > All and view "Camera", the version at the top of the page says "3.00.000.029209.1400". But when I touch the "About" button, it tells me the version is "3.00.0001.61076".

Is anyone else experiencing the same kind of discrepancy?

Re: HELP! Camera causes reboot on MikG v2.1 ROM

it's definitely rom related as I'm on EvolvedROM which is a 2.3 GB rom and don't have that issue. My camera version is the same as yours but when I hit the "about" mine says 3.00.0001.60865
