Suddenly, all text messages are coming through Google Voice

Last night, I was going to flash CM7, 7.0.3.1. Did a nandroid of my stock, rooted, 2.3.3 rom. After flashing CM7, I was attempting to set up Google Voice, but was having issues, where it couldn't sync with Sprint, or something like that. So, I wiped data/cache/dalvik, and I restored my nandroid backup.

This morning, I received a text through Google Voice. I never receive texts through GV. Only voicemails. I've also noticed in menu, settings, call, voicemail service, I only have "My Carrier" listed, and not "My Carrier" and "Google Voice". Under voicemail settings, it shows my google voice #.

How do I get everything back to the way it was? I want texts to come through the HTC messaging app, and I only want voicemails to come through to GV.

Re: Suddenly, all text messages are coming through Google Voice

I had this problem the other day. What you did was a sync of google voice and your number. Which in turns makes google take over your phone. This is a new feature on google voice.

Just go to the google voice website and then go through the settings on it and click the tab. So you won't be using your phone to get google messages. You can do that with the calls as well. Good Luck
