about Netflix not working, mine works just fine, it does take a few seconds to load from that white screen but it does come up. just wanted to share that with all of you.

(stock rom unrooted)

Wow, I just stumbled across this. I was using z4root for temp root and haven't used it for about a week for temp root, and did a check a couple hours ago for update. nothing. then I decided to do gingerbreak for root and it wouldn't take. So i did a system wipe and now the update is there. Hmm waiting on DL to see what I get.

i read the thread but didn't see this so guess i'll ask, does it matter if your rooted and on a custom rom or not? i'm on evolved rom <gb rom based off of shift> and have tried to see if the ota update was available and it keeps saying there are no new updates, don't know if i really want it or not was just curious.

not sure what extra customizations your rom might have or what the chef may have added or took out. but my evo is rooted and was running sprint lovers rom and was able to recieve the update .. under HTC software update.... NOT firmware update...didnt do it , didnt want to lose root but it did recognize it.

well i have been checking to see if i was able to get the update, but still not available to me yet i guess, or it could be that i'm running a 2.3.3 gb rom already and it's not wanting me to update because of that.

That's a great question... It really mucks things up for us on the stock ROM.
@pinkbunnies - Were you able to confirm that Netflix works/does not work??? And of course... Are you rooted?
