yeah there was talk about the Rider, there is a leak for it too, I *havent* downloaded myself but it sounds like it's not the 3D either, but maybe a GSM version.

wonder why? seems odd to have both gsm and wimax unless sprint is up to something network wise?

lol...sprint isn't the only wimax network in the world(hard to believe I know)..people are guessing its for korea...but its possible EVO 3d is a world phone I guess..

According to the article, htc shooter aka ego 3d has dual 8mp rear facing cameras. But on the sprint press release vid on YouTube they claim it has dual 5mp cameras. Which is the device coming to sprint? Hope it's going to be 8mp

FYI the Evo 4G is not and never will be the Evo 3D. To everyone saying the hardware is similar, it is totally different.

CPU is different, RAM is different, camera is different, screen is different, hardware buttons are different, ports are different...

I can't really think of anything that is the same. I have no idea why people are saying they are so similar, but the fact is they are totally different.

I'm not saying an Evo 3D ROM won't help, just pointing out that they are not virtually the same hardware like a few people have said.

Yeah.............I was in the same judging boat until I saw the ACTUAL specs for the phone........now I have no choice but to get it! Everything about this phone is different....or DOUBLE what the Evo 4G is......plus it has MHL......which is what I am putting my money on because that is a dream come true for me....I mean....with me having a high speed wifi connection at home............I might not even use my computer after getting this phone! And with OMJ making roms for it.....OMFG!!!!!

I just wish this phone had like.........an 8mp camera on the back instead of 2 5mp....I really don't care for the 3D factor but that will be an added bonus for me getting it...and the MSM8660 can support up to 12mp (I think).........so I would have preferred maybe 10mp rear facing and 2 front facing.

Adreno 220 is gonna blow minds (not in that Pamela Anderson way either).............and with the MHL.........let me stop talking.

Well look at it perspectively...

2560x1920 is around 5mp....

thats higher then 1080p and thats enough to print 10.65" photo at 300 dpi

Where as most people use their photos for uploading on FB >.>..not saying more MP hurts..but the sensor is more important..
