You should just flash both and give it a day or so. There is no better Rom since we all have different wants and coverage areas

Yeah, I know I should of asked what does cm focus on for this rom. Like from using decks I can tell he focuses on a barebone, stable gingerbread rom that users can then customize themselves. Does cm focus on features and out-of-the-box customizations/eye candy?
I plan on flashing this since deck will be releasing 1.0 thus week anyway. Just was curious, can't wait til I get home. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk Last edited by jae18708; 04-11-2011 at 05:27 PM. |

Cm is all about function. I don't use cm so my opinion is objective. However, I don't know of any aosp roms that are flashy. Aosp is all about speed. You need the right Rom and kernel combo

So after trying it for a day, I have faced the fact that gingerbread and my battery just don't play well together.
Gingerbread dropped to about 87% in a hour with almost no usage and only 3g enabled. Tired of sucky battery life (former TP2 android user), I then flashed back to froyo at 8am. With 4g enabled I installed missing apps, chatted using imo, texted through google voice, and browsed a little. By noon I was sitting at 66% battery left. I liked cm7/gingerbread A LOT, but can't get with the battery life on my device. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk |
