Re: Stuck between rooted and not rooted
It sounds like you just have some permission issues. Several programs will run through and issue a ChMod. Download Rom Manager and run the fix permissions. Also, be sure you have the latest BusyBox command interpreter. If you install the free verison of Titanium Pro, it has a link to update BusyBox. You can also find it on the market.

I just installed this after unrooting and re-rooting to fix some problems. its working great. Do you have the specs on this rom? like what's included and what's not? I was getting ready to install the Sprint Hotspot fix, but I just tried it and it was there. I wanted to make sure I didnt screw anything up by adding hacks that were already there. I really want to change my icons in the header of the screen (bluetooth, GPS, battery, etc..) But I wasnt sure if I installed anything would it screw up the toggle buttons in my notifications menu.

The Rom is lovely though. Is there anyway to get my other stuff back? In particular, how can I get back the apps I paid for? ETA: Never mind. I had not signed in with the right Google account when I first booted up the phone. Reflashed, used the right account, and all is well. Last edited by The Sapient; 01-26-2011 at 02:25 PM. |
