Unrooted, now phone won't find HTC update... - Page 2

The guy was told not to rename the RUU to PCIMG36.IMG, that he needs to run the RUU from his computer as an EXE.....instead he changes the name to UPDATE.ZIP and tries to flash it in recovery?

or did I miss something?

Sorry to burst your bubble lkillen, not the first. I downloaded the current 3.70 zip, renamed it to PC36IMG.zip, copied to sd, booted into recovery, and it flashed, I'm back to normal now. But thanks for your faith in me!!

Why rename it if you are using Recovery?
