sms time stamp problem

So three people on my account including myself have this glorious phone. Sometimes when we get texts they come in with a time stamp that is 2 to 3 minutes ahead of the real time on the phone. Reply messages go out with the real time stamp placing them in the wrong order in the thread if its an immediate reply.

It's not everytime however its really annoying. The sms apps in the market don't fix this either.

Are you rooted? What ROM are you running ?
A little info could help

im rooted. the other 2 are not. only thing i did with mine was remove bloat that is safe to remove. I didnt mention these things cause at this point i dont see them as relevant if its happening on rooted and non rooted devices. My bad. Anything else you would like to know?

I was just trying to see what ROM you was running ?

Try going into your settings and clearing the cache on the messaging app.
Settings >Applications >Manage Apps > All >Messaging >clear cahce

I am experiencing the same thing. Rooted, but running stock ROM. It is quite annoying. I chocked it up to Sprint, but if there is a resolution, I'd love to hear it.

i flashed CM 6.1.2 last night and it hasnt happened since.
