Yea same here. i tried rooting yesterday and it wouldnt let me. It said something about older version. Well this sucks! Im still looking around and see if i can find answers.

I install the official RUU_Supersonic_1.47.651.1_Radio_2.05.00.06.10_rele ase_CL195459 and it allowed root. Let me test before doing it.

Did updating to sprint 3.70 firmware also updated your HBOOT? If so then I belive there's not a way yet to root the new HBOOT. Your gonna have to wait.

How did Sprint update you? I don't think there is an automatic way for them to update you unless you took it into the Sprint store to get fixed and they did the upgrade. I think if it was the full Sprint OTA update then yes his HBOOT would have been updated as well. I don't use unrevoked so I am not sure about that, I have always been rooted via Toast since the start. This sounds wonky, but it works...if you get the "older version" error using unrevoked, connect your evo as disk drive instead of charge only. Sounds crazy, I know, but it works.
