alert sound question

Is there any way to have a CUSTOM sound for EMAIL? Im not talking about GMAIL as I already have an alert for that.. I am talking about the regular MAIL *(exchange, IMAP). it appears it uses whatever sound is the default alert sound. I'd like to leave the default alert sound the way it is and then have another one for my email. I dont see any way possible.. I am using a SENSE ROM.

I'm curious too. I don't care for the Stock sounds for email notifications. Calander & email notification sounds are the same and no choice or options.

I had the same question. What I did is made the default notufication the one I wanted for my emails. And changed all the other ones so they weren't the default one. Seems like you can change all the notifications but the email one. I had my lady record a custom message for every notification.

My daughter downloaded an app that let's her tailor notifications individually. I'll post it when she gets home.

whoisit doesn't look like I can set a default ringer for mail.

I've tried them all. Currently I'm using just tones for ringtone manager. None of them let me set a default ringer for email. I could do this on my old tp2 phone.
