Clearing Memory Card A2SD

I just got done dealing with a 4G issue that was driving me nuts (See http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/htc-evo-4g...t-connect.html).

Now I've got a nice shiney new formatted rooted EVO with OMJ's latest ROM. But I also have a really ugly looking memory card. I feel like there's a ton of garbage on there and I'd like to clean it out.

Question: I've copied the entire contents of my sd card to my computer, saved all my nand backups, etc. If I'd like, could I just delete/format my card and start over? I'm on OMJ's latest 2.2 ROM (v.4.4). I can only think of a couple things on there that would affect the phone. First, a2sd. Where are those things stored? A2sd's own partition, right? Second, Ti Backup.

Obviously there are a ton of folders on the SD card that I didn't create (Music, many app-specific folders, etc.) Would the phone create those as-needed going forward?

Thanks will be given for help.
