Most techs don't check the boot screen for that. Some don't even know what s-on and s-off mean.

Same one from June 7 2010.. Sprint Lovers rom installed.. running Netflix with custom Kernal mirroring the display using HDMwIn... works flawless!!!

The day I got it, installed a screen protector and I have always had a case on it..

tried many roms, but always come back to Sprint Lovers.. I now have it in an Otterbox case...

The thing is the absolute BEST phone I have ever had.. hardly need to reboot, and it just works and works.. HTC/Sprint did it right on this phone.. I come from older winmo days and I am a full convert to Android..

picked up the ACER Iconia about 10 days ago.. use it all the time to do WiFi hotspot from my evo to the acer.. works all good..

Still got the same one from the 1st week. My wife has the same one from June 4. Both working fine. No issues. Both stock/unrooted.

I still have mine. Just a small little crack around the bezel. But I think that is from when I accidentally missed the pocket in my purse and it hit the ground. Other than that, I have absolutely loved this thing from day 1. The only thing I thought about was getting the 3D until Netflix finally pulled their head out of the preverbial keister and released to the EVO. Now I am not so sure that I would change except for maybe to have the dual core. However, I have heard that the Quad-Cores come out next year. Can't wait!

I do, it is still running strong. Couple dings and stuff from being dropped. I don't have a protective case or cover over it but it still looks great. Slight light leak at the bottom of the screen and one of the battery clips for the battery cover has a little play. Mainly just minor cosmetic things with it.

I still have mine from launch day as well. I put it in a SEIDIO case that first week, and it's taken a couple falls but nothing serious... no cracks, no scratches on the screen or plastic. Honestly, I really don't have any reason to upgrade to a new phone other than just desire for something new, but unless Sprint gets a WP7 device like the Samsung Focus or HTC Trophy, I'm going to stick with my EVO. The EVO 3D just isn't enough improvement to interest me (based on what I use my phone for).

This is the best phone I have ever had. Got it on the first day it came out. My family of four all have one as well as several other family members.
