drm notification - License Required
 

Just got two notifications of the above. Wasn't doing anything in particular to my phone. I had it plugged into the Laptop and move a file over. I noticed it just as I unplugged the phone. Googled the message but couldn't find out much.
Any ideas?

I've gotten this 3 times ever since i got a rom with the new OTA. Was wondering as well.

I got it today too... twice in a row... not hooked up to a computer, but I did have 4G on. When you push it to see what its for it just goes away. Anyone know if its a big deal or if we should just ignore it?

from what i remember, you have to reflash the rom (no wiping though). Somehow, the android permissions file got deleted. The DRM notification is in reference to the rom itself.

I ran Rom Managers Permission fixer. I'll see if that makes any difference.

Rom manager? I am running the stock rom w/ newest update (swype) and not rooted. Do I still need to do Rom Manager?

I got 2 of them in a row today as well. I am not going to worry about it, especially since it looks like it happened to people today. Rooted and non rooted......

You need to be rooted for Rom Manager but your statement answered my question.

This is NOT an issue of being rooted or custom ROM. It may be a hip-cup in 3.70

Haven't had it happen again so I am not going to worry about it.

I'm on 3.70 and also get the message only when I copy a file from my PC to the Evo.
