Were any of you guys moving .wma out .wmv files? Maybe a digital copy of a movie?

I got it too.

It happened when I was moving and sorting various .mp3 files from one music folder to another. Curious as to what it means....

ahh, someones thinking the right way... DRm Licensing issues should only happen from music usually.. espically if your downloading your music from places like iTunes or other "offical" mp3 outlets, then moving those to your device...

the way to fix it: sync the files over rather than just moving over to folders or copying onto the sd card... This was always how winMO fixed those issues as well..

I don't think so. I was simply copying a Kernel to my phone.

And I surely am not going to crank up HTC_Synch to copy 190 KB file.

I just got them. Just added to files to my memory card from my computer when it happened. I hope this is not something we are gonna start getting from Rooting our phones. I have Rom Manager too. Did the permission fix work?

Re: drm notification - License Required

This is caused from audio files detected on your device/sd card. Acquiring licences for music or ring tones. Evidently this is something new with the new ota 3.70 because I never saw it until this update. No big deal as long as the files will play.
