Re: New Kernel/Superior Battery Life

I just downloaded SBC-bcnice-stable-v7. I am on a Azreal 3.0 ROM (3.7)
Do I have to do a Full wipe before flashing this?

Re: New Kernel/Superior Battery Life

Okay, I flashed it. (Wiped first)
It is doing as they say!!! Even though my charge light is green and my (extended) battery says 100%, I watched my battery mV go from 4170 to 4206 in about 10 minutes. This is really going to benefit us who are on LiPo's since their peak voltage is higher than LiOn's. Since I switched to the Seidio, battery has been a non-issue to me but I just gave my daughter an EVO for Christmas and this will help my Text-a-holic a lot.

Still have to get her rooted and since she is on the new HBoot and 004 phone, it gives me the willies.

Trying to visualized "screen tear". Nothing comes to mind. I don't use tapatalk or dolphin browser. I used the ASOP since the word "agressive" left me a little paranoid. It seems to be working just as advertized. My battery seems to top out at 4210 mv and floats around 4206 to 4208 mv.

Screen tear means you flashed the wrong kernel. if you are running sense you need a sense kernel. Etc

Think of the kernel as a engine, so If I gave you and 550 hp Htc engine and now gave you a new 777 hp engine you car runs faster! now if you chose to revert back to htc engine your speed drops! aka the battery saving technique go away!

I am on a Azreal 3.0 ROM (3.7), which kernel do you suggest going with for best battery saving heavy use?
