E: Error finishing boot
 
I installed a rom and at the end of the rom flashing process, i get this error:
E: Error finishing BOOT:
E: Failure at line 83:
write raw image PACKAGE: boot.img BOOT:
installation aborted.

it happpened on multiple occasions and on flashing diff roms (e.g. OMJ, Warms)

I did complete date/cache wipe before flashing.

Indeed! Hopefully you did a Nandbackup (saving of a previous functional rom), revert to your working rom and try it over...& I think this thread is in the wrong area!? The Mods might move it to general disscusion Kamram

Are u able to successfully flash any custom rom? the error is basically saying it can't write the boot image.

Which hboot do you have?? Are you using the proper recovery for your version? If you have hboot 2.02 you should be using the Modded aman ra 1.9 recovery, 1.8 will give you problems.
