I just installed this update thinking there was gonna be something significant, but its just bloatware. How can I uninstall this update?

I'm sure there are internal updates and patches they would never admit publicly. That is the way software has always worked.

My phone is 10 times better now, then when I picked it up launch day. No questions. It's the same hardware unit, but the software is significantly better.

I develop medical software, and I hear all the time "The old one was better" syndrome.

yeah, stuff happens..... specially when you just wake up to a screaming 2 year old and there's an update on the EVO.

I was just about to try and root my EVO to try and revert the update, just got smacked in the face by new Hboot 2.10.0001

Just did a software update today and Hboot changed to 2.10.0001, I was just gonna root the EVO today. Is there any way to root now? Or do we just wait impatiently?

you should be able to flash a stock shipped rom from here and that should take you back to where you need to be...
