Call from HTC about a returned Evo...

Today I received a call from HTC about a Evo I was having problems with and returned. They wanted to know what was wrong with it, he also asked how I felt about the Evo, what I thought about the battery life, and what could be improved on the phone. I took the opportunity to ask him about the gingerbread update and he said he could not tell me the release date for it but he confirmed Evo will get gingerbread 1st quarter of 2011. Does htc normally call Evo owners after returning a device?

idk about returning evos but they called me the other day. asking me about my new evo cuz i lost mine so i claim it lost they sent me one n then call me. i dont why they doin that.

Its called customer relations... really not that odd. Sprint typically contacts me after any logged interaction with them to verify that I had a satisfactory experience dealing with them and to find out if there is anything that would help them serve me better. (Yes I know that this post references HTC and not Sprint...)

Yeah, that's cool that they are doing that. I just wonder why they only seem to be doing this with the Evo.... I returned like 6 tp's and 2 tp2's and they never called for anything.

i think thats new cuz i had 2 evos before this one n they didnt calld.. So i think its a new thing

EVO's are Sprints big hope. Hess poured his heart and soul into Evo. This is the phone that is supposed to open the market up for them.

Too bad that 4G turned out to be such a downer or it really would have kicked iPhone into oblivion.

What do u mean? 4G is great in my location, and this phone definately kicked iphone with or without 4G,js

yeah I am getting 3.5mb+ download and 1.2mb up on 4G where I am! Awesome for Ustreaming!
