Boot Animation

I was wondering if you guys could help me with a boot animation I put together. Firstly this is not my work by any means. I just put stuff from other boot anims to how I want it on MY phone. Problem is that it won't boot. Just get a black screen for about 15 seconds then my phone boots up to my homescreen, without any animation. I read about pushing files here but I can't seem to get it. If one of you more talented members could take a look and see if I goofed it up somewhere or point me in the right direction I would GREATLY appreciate it. The files are attached along with the .txt file for the system. Hopefully you guys can help!!! Thanks.
Attached Files
File Type: zip android.zip (8.36 MB, 11 views) Click for barcode!
File Type: zip eye.zip (2.18 MB, 6 views) Click for barcode!
File Type: zip loading.zip (278.7 KB, 3 views) Click for barcode!
File Type: txt desc.txt (49 Bytes, 11 views) Click for barcode!

Re: Boot Animation

I switched out my bootsound.mp3 with my own. I am quite sure you need to preserve the naming convention lest your OS know not from where you speak.

Virus I know, and 2 others I can't remember. A flashable would kick @$$!!!!! I used root explorer as I always do but this time it just didn't take for some reason.

Re: Boot Animation

Are those flashable zips or the bootanimation?? If they are bootanimation you have to rename them as bootanimation.zip and put them in the correct directory on your phone.

These are the files taken out of the bootanimation.zip. I put the bootanimation.zip in system/media as I always did but this time it didn't work. Not sure what I did but I'm pretty sure it's my fault!!! lol. I think it might be in the .txt....maybe!?!?!?

You need to have it in /data/animation

You probably can't see this directory with Astro. Try Root Explorer, that is where bootanimation.zip and bootsound.mp3 need to be
