on when the price of the evo will drop a bit? too much IMO for a 6 month old phone, even on an upgrade.

don't even get me started with the epic pricing!

Phone is not even 5 months old yet...but i have seen some places for 99 and up to 160

I understand your logic but the demand for the evo, even though its 5 months old, is still pretty high so any kind of official price drop through sprint probably won't happen any time soon. Hell, evo's that don't even work goes for $200 plus on ebay.

Have you checked craigslist. Found new ones for $200 in my hood.

I got my Epic brand new for $200 off craigslist!

So, let us say I go on Craig's list and buy an EVO for $150. I already have a TP2 and I go online (or call) and switch phones. I already had the data plan. Will I get 4G? Will I get bagged with the $10 4G charge?

IF you Activate the phone with Sprint, Yes they will add the $10 add-on to your plan.

I don't know when It'll drop but If your like me and you can't wait to get your hands on the EVO then go down to the Sprint Store and ask to purchase the EVO at retailed price ($450+tax for a non-contract assuming that your not eligible for an upgrade yet) and ask to have that payment billed towards your next billing cycle (if they let you of course). That way you don't have to pay anything up front and you'll have a time span of 4-6weeks to pay it off including with your next monthly bill. My method of pay it all off is making Online Payments in Increments of $200+ every 2 weeks (or payday for me)

or you can do what everyone else is suggesting and look for one cheaper on Craigslist.

I think they will charge you the $10 extra regardless of 4G coverage in your area upon activation. The phone is 4G ready.

i won't use craigslist anymore, my buddy just got mugged off of there when trying to buy a phone. anybody know where i can get one on upgrade for maybe $150-160 out the door?

Probably not. Just because "your buddy got mugged" doesn't mean there's not some deals to be had!
