install setcpu which adjusts clock frequency automatically based on processor load. Instead of running at full steam, the range in which I works is 245-998mhz. You can also overclock it but that would defeat the purpose.

Im running damage 3.5 which has a battery saver profile

I would suggest installing power widgets which let you turn things on and off faster. this is one of my screens

How do you install JD's rom? Sprint lover's rom was easy to do since all I had to do was download the rom and replace it in my SD card, but I couldn't figure out JD's.

I downloaded JD's already, so do I just change it's name, then flash from the card?

I THINK I rooted, and flashed but I'm not even 100% sure on that x(

Btw, Ive been JD's follower for years, I just couldnt figure it out lol.

Dl the zip to your SD and then flash zip from recovery. Make sure you do the factory, dalvik and cache wipes before you flash

I just went w/ sprint lovers because all I had to do was replace PC36IMG (sprint lovers) into sd card and upgrade. Atleast, I think I flashed it lol.

If you're rooted, then you will have an app called superuser. If you don't have that, you didn't flash anything. If you are rooted, just flash the JD zip from recovery

Umnn I haven't been here for a while, and I guess they took out the thanks button?

Worst part of having the EVO seems like the fact that I have to buy the damn slingmobile AGAIN. I already have 2 windows mobile license!!

You're not rooted if you don't know what recovery is. Follow the sticky on how to root, make sure its for 2.2 not 2.1

Flashed to jds using Rom manager
Does WiFi spot work stealth in jds Rom or is there trick to it?
